Privacy
This preview does not include analytics or advertising scripts.
Anonymous likes
Public like totals are shared. To remember your own likes, the likes service sets a random, first-party, HTTP-only cookie for up to one year. The production cookie is named __Host-wallpaper_likes; local HTTP previews use wallpaper_likes_dev. It is not an account or a unique-person identifier.
The likes database stores the anonymous cookie identifier together with the wallpaper IDs you like. For Trending, it also records when a new like is created; older likes may not have a recorded date. The feature does not ask for an email address or store IP addresses. Your browser's preference is private; aggregate totals are public. There is no dislike feature.
You can remove your own like with the same browser and cookie. Clearing or losing the cookie does not delete previously stored likes, and a new browser identity cannot remove those earlier preferences. Database preferences do not automatically expire when the cookie expires. If cookies or JavaScript are blocked, you can still browse and download wallpapers, but saving likes requires both.
Optional analytics
If enabled for the site, Google Analytics 4 runs only after you consent. It measures page views, wallpaper download-button clicks (not completed saves), and confirmed like or unlike changes. It may use cookies and sends analytics requests to Google; the configured page URL and referrer origin, along with technical request information, may be processed. Your choice is stored in this browser and can be withdrawn using Analytics settings in the footer; withdrawing stops future analytics and removes analytics cookies set by this integration in this browser. No login is needed. Likes and downloads remain available whether you consent or not. This source notice is a draft and needs review before public launch.
Hosting
Hosting services may process technical request data separately. A complete privacy notice and hosting configuration must be reviewed before public launch. Local development keeps its likes database on this machine; it does not contact a production database.
